This page shows you how to format listings for compilations by Various Artists.

Page Title

Use the official album title and the year in parentheses. Capitalize the first letter in every word (as a generic guideline for Page Names on LyricWiki). As various artist compilations do not have a single artist, the normal artist portion of the pagename should be left out, and should not be replaced by "Various Artists."

So instead of "Various Artists:Cool Compilations Vol. III (2008)", one should use merely "Cool Compilations Vol. III (2008)". The use of the release year in parentheses marks this page as an album page.

Template

The following is a generic template of how the Album page is formatted. Replace the sections in <<>> with the correct information and remove the <<>> completely.
