FAQ

Why can't I find [specific artist] or [specific song]?
One possibility is that the song/artist/album is not on the site yet. More likely, is that the name you typed is not the recognized name for that artist or song. For example, you might be looking for Eminem but type Slim Shady or Marshall Mathers instead. Also note, that page names on LyricWiki are case sensitive. If you cannot find NoRMAhL (which is the correct spelling) please use the search functionality to check if for example Normahl doesn't already exist. If eventually you do find the actual name used, please feel free to put a redirect to that name from the alias.
[Page name] is not correct. How can this be fixed?
The easiest way to do this is to move the page to the correct page name. After logging in, the move tab will show up at the top of the page.
If a copy already exists with the correct title, flag the incorrectly named page for deletion with {{Deletion| Reason for deletion}}. If the name is very close, you may consider instead changing the page to redirect to the correct one by replacing the page with #REDIRECT [[ correct page name ]].
If there are multiple incorrect pages (for example: an artist name spelled wrong and hence all album and song pages containing that artist's name are incorrect as well) put {{RequestMove| where to | Reason for move}} at the top of the page and along with the reason for the move. An administrator will look into it and mass-move the affected pages, in the process changing the links to reflect the new page names.
[Page Name] is not capitalized correctly, it should be [PaGE nAmE] instead, right?
The capitalization of song titles is simply that the first letter of each word should be capitalized. It provides a simple policy for naming the page. Also, this way, programmers don't have to write a lot of code to determine the correct capitalization of the song when integrating the site into music players and the like. See LyricWiki:Page names for the complete policy on naming song and artist pages.
Is this page legal?
You can find a statement on this at LyricWiki:Announcements. It states that LyricWiki is in contact with a major publisher since 2006 in order to reach an agreement, how royalties could be paid.
Somebody named "Janitor" keeps adding songs I deleted back under Other Songs. Can you ban him?
Well, the problem is that you didn't delete the song, just the link to it. Janitor is doing exactly what he was designed to do, add pages that are not linked to from anywhere to the artist page under "Other Songs" so that humans can remove duplicates. To really delete a song, follow the link, edit the page and add {{Deletion| Reason for deletion}} to the top. The administrators would prefer, however, that you redirect the page if it is a duplicate. To do that, replace the page with #REDIRECT [[ the correct page name ]]. And no, he won't be banned.
