Template:AlbumFooter
From LyricWiki
| This page contains complicated code or uses complex and/or undocumented markup syntax features. Please do not change it unless you know what you are doing. When in doubt, ask the original author(s) or make a test page for use in the sandbox. |
Include this template at the bottom of album pages. It will include an External links section heading and automatically insert a list of external links.
The following parameters must be given:
- artist The artist name (in the original and official spelling)
- album The name of the album (in the original and official spelling)
To use this template, place the following at the end of the Album page with the Artist Name and Album Name parameters correctly filled (with the <<>> removed):
{{AlbumFooter
|artist=<<Artist Name>>
|album=<<Album Name>>
}}
The following parameters are optional:
- romanizedArtist If the artist name is in a foreign alphabet (e.g. Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Japanese) include the (if possible official) romanization in this parameter. Amazon and Last.fm links will be included with the romanization as well.
- romanizedAlbum If the album name can be romanized as well, use this parameter. If only the romanizedArtist parameter is given but not romanizedAlbum, this defaults to album.
- asin Insert the Amazon identification number here. When not used, the search links will be based on the album parameter. See Template:Asin for more information.
- iTunes Insert the iTunes ID here to include an iTunes link. When not given the entire link will be omitted. See Template:ITunes for more information.
- musicbrainz Insert the MusicBrainz url ID here to include a link similar to iTunes. The link is otherwise omitted.
- wikipedia Insert the name of the article on Wikipedia about the album, being sure to turn spaces into underscores.
The extended template, (if all of the optional parameters were used) would appear as:
{{AlbumFooter
| artist = <<Artist Name>>
| album = <<Album Name>>
| romanizedArtist = <<Artist Name>>
| romanizedAlbum = <<Album Name>>
| asin = <<Amazon.com Asin Code>>
| iTunes = <<iTunes code>>
| musicbrainz = <<MusicBrainz Code>>
| wikipedia = <<Wikipedia_page>>
}}
For more information, check the Formatting Albums page in the help section.
When only the obligatory parameters are passed, the template renders like this:
Amazon: Artist Name (Artist Name) • Album Name (Album Name)
Last.fm: Artist Name - Album Name (Artist Name - Album Name)
iTunes: Album Name
Wikipedia: Album Name
MusicBrainz: Album Name
Link after template.
