Add this template at the bottom of artist pages. It eliminates the need to add external links and category.
Required parameters:
- fLetter = <
>
- Categorizes the artist in a Category:Artists_ category.
Optional parameters:
- artist = <
>
- Allows the artist name to be specified. Uses this instead of the page name at sites in the "External Links" section. Useful for those artists whose initial letters are uncapitalized or begin with a restricted symbol, such as +, #, or <.
- |artist defaults to the page's name
- genre = <
>
- If the artist (mainly) produced music in one genre this will categorize it for easy finding.
- officialSite = <
>
- For linking to the artist's official website.
- Requires entire link including http (ex: http://lyricwiki.org). Without it, the link breaks.
- pedlr = <
>
- Shows a link to the artist's Pedlr pages.
- Does not require entire link, only the profile name (ex: http://pedlr.com/YourPedlrPage)
- Also: |pedlr = Your Pedlr Page links to http://pedlr.com/Your+Pedlr+Page
- myspace = <
>
- Shows a link to the artist's MySpace profile.
- Does not require entire link, only the profile name (ex: http://www.myspace.com/myspaceprofile)
- Also: |myspace = Myspace Profile links to http://www.myspace.com/Myspace+Profile
- wikipedia = <
>
- This allows the correct page name to be specified. Useful for those artists that have a disambiguation phrase, such as (band) or (musician), added to their name.
- |wikipedia defaults to the page's name
- musicbrainz = <
>
- Allows MusicBrainz page to be chosen.
- |musicbrainz defaults to a search of the page's name
- Does not require entire link, only the MusicBrainz ID (ex: http://musicbrainz.org/artist/MusicBrainzID.html)
- romanizedArtist = <
>
- When the artist name is in a foreign alphabet (e.g. Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, ...) links using the romanized name will be produced as well.
