Trivia
This is not the original recording of the song, but this song was written by John Phillips, a band member of The Mamas And The Papas. He let Barry McGuire sing this song for his album and release it before they did. This was a gift for Barry McGuire for helping The Mamas And The Papas. So, Barry McGuire's version became somehow the original, even though it was not written by him, but by one of the singers of the first cover version.
