[edit] Welcome

Welcome to LyricWiki.org Twomeanings!
(Thanks to Sean)

LyricWiki is a site that has lyrics for more than 600,000 songs (wow, that's a lot!).

If you need any assistance, make sure you ask on my talk page, in the Community Portal, in the IRC channel or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. If you need help getting started, check out the help pages. Actually, you might want to check them out anyway, particularly Formatting Artists, Formatting Albums and Formatting Songs sections, to see which cool templates you can (should) use.

An important tip for new users: LyricWiki breaks some of the usual capitalization rules for artists, albums, and song titles. Please see LyricWiki:Page names for more information.

Have fun!

-- Kiefer

[edit] Thanks

 • Thank you for your excellent edits on The Who! --Kiefer 23:48, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
 • Ditto on The Beatles! --Kiefer 23:24, 4 May 2007 (EDT)
 • Likewise for adding album art on Aerosmith. I did a lot of edits, just to get the song lineups on the albums correct, and to make sure all their albums were on there. Just getting that far wore me out. Thanx! -- K1darkknight 05:53, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

[edit] The Day That Curly Billy Shot Down Crazy Sam McGee

Hey, what's up with the move of The Hollies:The Day That Curly Billy Shot Down Crazy Sam McGee to The Hollies:The Day That Curly Billy Shot Down Crazy Sam Mcgee? The first was correct according to Wikipedia. ---Kiefer 23:59, 27 August 2007 (EDT)

Sorry, wasn't sure about that move. I thought only the first letter of each word was supposed to be capitalized? Thanks for pointing it out, I'll leave it the same in future. ;) Twomeanings 13:41, 29 August 2007 (EDT)
No problem, it's why I asked. The only capitalization difference would be if the word wouldn't normally be capitalized, then the initial letter gets capitalized. Any other capitalization (or lack thereof) stays the same. When in doubt, refer to LW:PN. If that doesn't help, feel free to ask me on my talk page. ----Kiefer 01:49, 30 August 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Steve Miller

Thanks for all you did on Steve Miller Band. That was awesome. I'll be working on it too, but I just wanted to say good job. --Åqúàŧĩkī - É - Ŧ 01:59, 4 November 2007 (EST)

[edit] The Edgar Winter Group

Hi..before I revert the edits you have made on the above, can I just ask why you think the name should be Edgar Winter Group? ЯєdxxTalk 19:40, 26 August 2008 (EDT)

Sorry about that, I had seen a link on Wikipedia (not the most reliable source, I know ;)) that made me think there was no "the", but now seeing an album cover makes me think otherwise. Don't worry about it, I'll fix it up. Twomeanings 19:46, 26 August 2008 (EDT)
Cheers! That article on Wikipedia is confusing the way it's written so I can understand the confusion. I've been a fan since I first heard Frankenstein. Thanks for prompt reply. I'll leave it in your capable hands :-) Regards ЯєdxxTalk 19:57, 26 August 2008 (EDT)
